Baking Dream Realized
From young I have always dreamed of getting enrolled into a culinary arts course in one of the local private universities for I love baking. However, financial constraints at home have rendered my dream to remain a dream.
Deep down inside their heart, my parents feel guilty for their inadequacies to provide me with good education to fulfill my dream. To make up to me, my parents bought me the best microwave that I wanted so much on my 18th birthday. My 18th birthday present is my first ever microwave and it is my best microwave because my parents have took a couple of years to save up enough of money to purchase a microwave just for me.
It was very touching to me when I found out that my parents have my best interest in mind. Since my 18th birthday, I have made up my mind that I will not disappoint both my parents but I will work hard with my best microwave to give them a better quality life in the future.
The Oven of Shame
I like shopping for electronics. It is even better with sales, but ever since I had a nightmare with the toaster oven I bought recently, I vowed that I will buy my electronics from shops that can be trusted. Claiming that it was the best toaster oven in town, I was initially tempted by its sleek and sophisticated finish.
When I checked the price, I thought that it wa worth it, though it did not have a brand. Finally, I decided to give it a try. In the first three weeks, it was working well. I could not deny it was very convenient in the sense it made warming and heating food easier.
It was perfect for a busy working woman like me, but it was in the fourth week that it started to make strange noises. I did not care much until one day my daughter came screaming to me, telling me that my toaster oven was on fire. It ended up that I spent a fortune renovating my kitchen.>
